Are You Taking Calculated Risk to Grow Your Business?

As a business owner you need to realize that when you take calculated risks there is a possibility that you may fail.

It's the gamble business people have to take, especially if they want to achieve growth.

Note that I use the word "calculated risk". It's calculated meaning you plan and know your numbers. The amount of risk you can take.

On the upside you also have a chance to increase your revenue and profits thus business growth...

Many businesses that have achieved succeess locally find it difficult to venture into new markets overseas in a foreign land.

Many business owners may lack the courage to venture overseas into new markets and yet this is one of the great pathway to business growth.

The overseas market is potentially bigger.

Consider the local Singapore market which has a population of 5 million. And if you were to enter the Indonesia market which has a population of 200 million. See the difference?

200 million divided by 5 million, that is a market 40 times bigger than Singapore. Now you see how your business could massively grow whem you enter the overseas Indonesia market.

The fear is there because the risks involved are high, but the fact is that the higher the risk the higher the returns.

This article is mostly directed to business owners who have succeeded locally and have hedged spreading their investments into new markets.

The best way to do this is making a calculated risk and then plunging into it full steam ahead.

When you enter a new market, make sure you express what makes you different from your competitors who may already be established players. I call this your Unique Value Differentiator (UVD).

Also try to provide an even better service experience than what is currently there. You'll sure gain some new customers and market share.

As a business owner realize that when you take calculated risks there is a chance that you may fail.

And even if you fail, learn from your failure and get up more wiser and ready for the next business challenge or calculated risk activitity for business growth.

A lot of times, when you venture into new markets you need a tactical marketing process.

For it is in the marketing process that can bring in much needed new leads and sales.

I always teach that marketing is educating because when you educate your prospect learns. And when people learn they have more confidence in using your product and thus buying it.

In my "Double Your Profits" online course , I teach you step-by-step how to build a marketing process that educates and establishes greater confidence in your product.

3 Steps to an Incredibly Powerful Attention Grabbing Headline

Marketers and business owners who do marketing(the fun part of business), if you ever wanted many more people to read your articles or brochures, then you need to know that creating a good attention grabbing headline plays a very important step.

The headline is the first thing people read. It is the first impression.

And we all know how important first impressions are.

I'm going to show you 3 steps that can help you write incredibly better headlines.

The 3 steps are:

1. Common Emotion

2. Specific Proof

3. Specific Target

Common Emotion

Tap on a common emotion that your target audience share or experiences.

For example, if you're selling a robotic vacuum cleaner. You can tap on the emotion that it's a hassle to clean the house. It feels so boring cleaning the house.

You may use the headline like:
"Never Vacuum Again"
Here you can see that I've used a very emotional word "Never"

Specific Proof

Provide proof following the emotion point.

For example:
"More than 1000 housewives have used our robotic vacuum cleaner to automatically vacuum their homes"

In this example I've stated 1000 housewives. This is the specificity. Actual number of housewives who have used and benefited from the product.

Specific Target

Call out to your specific target audience. If you do not call them out, how can they know the article is for them. Call them out so they know it's specifically for them and you'll incredibly increase the chance that they read your article.

For example you can call them out like this:
"Attention housewives who are tired"

Combine all 3 steps and you get this powerful attention grabbing headline:

"Attention housewives who are constantly tired...

Never vacuum again!

More than 1000 housewives have used our robotic vacuum cleaner to automatically vacuum their homes"

An attention grabbing headline will enable you to convert into more sales.

Headlines are used on your lead-page, sales-page and email and blog articles.

All important elements which form the ultimate marketing funnel that can help multiply your business profits.

You can learn more in depth the exact step-by-step system that I use to build the ultimate marketing funnel that can help double your profits in my

Now it's your turn. Create your ultimate headline using these 3 steps.

4 Ways to Start a Business From Your Home

1. Your Current Employer

If a stay at home job is what you want, the first place you should look is at your current employer.

Is the work you’re doing now something that you could stay at home and do, then send to the office by email or upload to the company server.

With just a few adjustments by both you and your employer, you’ll find that it is possible.

And if you have a good work record with your employer and a few of years of service there already, your employer is quite likely to be willing to let you stay at home and work, at least part of the time.

You still might have to go into the office for meetings and planning sessions, but you could stay at home and do most of your work.

2. Part-Time

Before leaving your current job, it’s a good idea to start with a part-time stay at home job first.
There are many reasons for trying out a stay at home job part-time, but the main one is so that you’ll have a true idea of what your earning potential will be at a particular stay at home job.
It may be true that you can make oodles of money at that particular stay at home job, but it will probably take quite a while to build up to even a reasonable income.

Starting a stay at home job part-time will let you to do this while you still have a steady paycheck coming in, which means you’ll feel less stress and pressure.

3. Your Passion

When choosing the best stay at home job or stay at home work opportunity you should take into consideration what you love to do and what your skills and capabilities are.

Virtual assistants, graphic design, transcription, data entry and accounting are great areas for stay at home work. These are good places to put those computer skills and office skills you have to work for you in a stay at home job.

All you really need for these types of stay at home jobs is a computer with Internet access and email, which more than likely you already have since you’re reading this.

Email processing, survey taking and ad placement are a just few of the many other online stay at home job areas that you might want to look into.

Be sure to research the company offering the stay at home job you want first.

4. More Clients

As you are working from home, you can take on work from other companies.

This will enable you to grow. Start to collect testimonials from your clients and when you want to get a new client, you can show them the testimonials from your other clients.

Tomorrowland Movie Expected $140 Million Loss, What Can We Learn

With all its got going for it, like superstar actor George Clooney and futuristic special effects, the Tommorowland movie we would think would be a success.

But sources from The Hollywood Reporter have reported that the movie is expected to make a whopping $140 million dollar loss after it has made its round of screenings around the world.

How could this be?

Many have observed that the film could have been better marketed and publicised. There was not much buzz and pre-buzz before its launch.

And that there's no initial fan base. If you look at the Avengers Age of Ultron movie, it had earned $1.35 billion. Because Avengers has such a huge Marvel fan base. See the difference.

The film's marketing is also not clearly targeting the audience. Is it for kids or adults?

In the Double Your Profits course (DYPcourse) I have continually taught that Pre-sell is a very important factor in getting initial momentum to warm up and sell to your market.

And also I emphasize on clarity of market segment. Is your marget segment clear that your product is for them?

Are you building initial buzz to target your market? This you'll learn in the Double Your Profits course.

That said, I think Tommorowland is a fun movie to watch for the whole family.

Why Free Traffic May Not Get Your Business Anywhere

If your business is dependent on free customers, you do not have a business. You do not have any kind of “real” business until you have the ability to buy advertising from a variety of available sources and transform that traffic into sales and profits.

The key formula here is:

Furthermore, if your business is dependent on cheap traffic – or secret “honey holes” that nobody’s managed to discover just yet – then you’re sitting on a ticking time bomb.

Your job is to incorporate a quantum leap innovation into your business, one that cleanly differentiates you from others, separates you from everyone else.
